Description

The FANUC M-6ib robot is designed for low payload material handling applications. The FANUC M-6ib RJ3IB is as reliable as the FANUC M-16iB RJ3IB, however has a shorter reach. The M6iB offers significant flexibility in robotic applications and has the same structure and build as the FANUC Arc Mate 100ib, making it a viable choice for welding automation. The M6ib is a six axis industrial robot with servo driven motors. This articulated robot is the predecessor to the advanced M10ia. The FANUC M6ib is available in the FANUC R-J3IB, FANUC R-J3IC and FANUC R30ia controllers.

Due to minimal work envelope and commonality in the market, the Used M6ib is a economical robot that can be used in a variety of applications including robotic assembly, automated cutting, and robotic machine tending. Applications requiring a longer reach should utilize a M16ib or M20ia. Shorter reach applications such as robotic pick and place can use a FANUC LR Mate 200ic. This factory robot is similar in reach and payload to the Motoman HP6, ABB 1600, and the KUKA KR6.
